A great Sabbath day!

I truly was spiritually edified the last two days as I listened to General Conference. What a blessing to have so much wisdom coming from our leaders. To have this guidance in our troubled times brings peace and hope that is not available any where else. I am so grateful for the love our Heavenly Father has for us that He most certainly has not left us to find our way alone. Our lives must be built and patterned after His Only Begotten Son who is a sure foundation. Words almost seem inadequate as I strive to express the feelings in my heart. Those reading this surely understand these feelings.

We have not yet been able to get the internet in our apartment so I am at the office writing tonight. We needed to get things ready for tomorrow's Career Workshop, so I took advantage of the time. We are enjoying our work here and with Pres. Edgely's talk in the Priesthood Session, we will have so much more we can expect from the local leaders. I pray they will heed his "phone call". It just verifies to me that the Lord is in charge and how important it is to Him that his people are provided for.

Elder Avery is a great companion and this is such a great experience to be working together in doing the Lord's work. We are learning so much as a couple and I know it will strengthen us to be able to endure whatever lies ahead because we do it together.

I so enjoyed the piano lesson time this past Wednesday. I appreciate the opportunity to do something that is so enjoyable and relaxing after sitting in front of a computer for hours. Elaine, Noemia, and Leslie ages range from 7 to 12. Nohemia is a mother with a 5 year old and a 1 year old. Brother Jara is in his sixtys. Quite a mixture of delightful people.

Well, it has been full day so had better close and get home and get some shut-eye.
